WLB member, Action West London changes peoples’ lives.

Action West London (AWL) is a well-established charity and social enterprise with the Mission of ‘changing lives through Employment, Education and Enterprise’ . What does this mean?  ‘’Neil an ex offender is now at University and spoke at the House of lords last month; Fatima learnt English and is now applying to be a mid-wife; Peter, a homeless alcoholic is now working in construction and has started a family; Lucas a young offender won London young achiever of the Year Award from Boris Johnson. AWL is keen to highlight  the business benefits to  companies contributing to ‘changing lives’  of West London residents and employees. AWL is also setting up a niche recruitment agency aimed at helping businesses and companies recruit local staff and staff from diverse communities. Find out more
