West London wins at the regional RICS Awards 2017

The RICS Awards London celebrate the land, property and construction sectors.  Each London category winner goes on to compete against other regions at the national final in November.

West London has winners in two categories:

  • Community Benefit: Ealing Green Church, Ealing.

In 2014, the Methodist and URC commissioned the professional team on the renovation and landscaping of the Victorian-built Ealing Green Church. The focus was to create not only an uplifting and inspiring place of worship, but extend the church mission beyond the congregation and open-up the building to the wider community. A sympathetic rear extension, and a sensitive renovation on a tight budget, now provides a truly functional flexible area that sits at the heart of its community.

  • Regeneration: The Old Dairy, Ruislip

The Old Dairy is a vibrant, mixed-use development that has transformed a derelict site in the heart of South Ruislip. It incorporates an 11-screen Cineworld cinema, five family-themed restaurants, an ASDA food store, petrol-filling station and 162 residential units creating approximately 600 local new jobs. The redevelopment also comprises a central piazza with seating and new off-road walking and cycling routes to provide ease of access for existing and future residents.
