University of West London number one in London for student satisfaction

The University of West London (UWL) has recorded the best results of any university in London in the annual National Student Survey, with students’ responses showing it to be the best University in London for student satisfaction*.
UWL also rose 5% in overall satisfaction, the biggest annual increase in this measure among London universities**. This puts UWL ahead of all Russell Group universities in London. In addition, for each question in the survey, the University this year produced its best ever results.
There were 100 per cent overall satisfaction rates for nine courses across the University’s eight schools, ranging from Midwifery to Business Studies and Music Technology to Hospitality Management. In addition, the University recorded the best overall satisfaction rates in the UK for Civil Engineering and Building courses.
It was not only the University’s courses that achieved outstanding results – the Students’ Union, recently nominated for an NUS award for best students’ union, came first in London for overall satisfaction.
Speaking on the publication of the results the University’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter John said, ‘These outstanding results are further evidence of UWL’s continued success, and our considerable investment in the student experience. Our investment in world-class teaching and facilities has already had an impact, and we will continue to promote excellence in student learning, experience and outcomes.’
