About the talk
A new type of organization is about to be born, the Teal Organization.
Reinventing Organizations categorizes organizations into colour bands which represent the organizations’ cultural leanings.
Most of us work in Orange (striving to be a well-oiled machine) organizations. The step beyond Orange is Green, and we have dreams of going Green (family type dynamic); beyond green, we can see a haze, and that haze is Teal coloured. As the haze comes into focus we will see that Teal organizations are driven by evolutionary purpose and humane practices.
In this talk, I will give an introduction to what Teal is and look at some things we can do in order to take steps towards operating in a teal-type manner.
About the speaker
Ash Sheikh is a Flâneur / Executive Agile Coach & Culture Coach.
Ash creates and delivers successful outcomes for the world’s largest Enterprise Organizations by developing Cultures which are supportive environments where people and ideas can thrive.
He delivers success by being relentlessly delivery focused and using a variety of Agile based skills and techniques which he has adapted and created after encountering many real world challenges across a multitude of industries including Finance, Telecom, Airline, Music and Motor Sport.
Ash believes that Change needs to be implemented in a way that the people in the organisation can accept and welcome rather than resist. He’s an expert in creating change which is both holistic (so that we are creating healthy change) and accepted (so that the change, and your investment in the change, sticks).
Underneath all of that, he’s you, just another human making his way around this rock of ours. He believes in helping others overcome the challenges we all face, both organizational challenges and human challenges, he does that by talking and writing.
