Check your CSS works on handheld devices using Raspberry Pi
Talk by Nigel Milligan
Nigel will talk about a problem you may have faced in the past: Say you are developing on a local sandbox VM on your Mac. How can you easily check your CSS is working on hand held devices when you can’t edit their /etc/hosts files and point them to your site? Solutions such as localtunnel are usually firewalled and don’t work. How about an inexpensive Raspberry Pi acting as a proxy server on your network that will redirect your iPad, iPhone and Android device to your site! Nigel shows you how!
As usual we will have :
• General Drupal Q&A for anyone attending (for all levels from beginner to advanced).
• Bringing our problems (and laptops too!) to the table and see if we can come up with solutions together.
• Spreading awareness of any upcoming events of interest and mentioning interesting opportunities.
