On 28 April 2021 Mike Langan formally retired as Chairman of the Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce. In February Mike received a special West London Business Award for Services to Business in recognition of the 30 years exemplary work that he has done for the business community in the Borough of Hillingdon.
Whilst Mike is stepping down as Chairman, he will remain an active Member of the Committee, taking on the role for organising the Chamber’s events programme so you will be able to see him in the not too distant future, restrictions permitting.
With Mike tenure as chair ending, the Committee have addressed the responsibilities that come with the role as Chairman and, as they are all volunteers running their own businesses or working full-time, it was voted and agreed at the AGM on 28th April that a rotating Chair of 4 months each would be appointed. The Chairman for the following year will be as follows:
Frazine Johnson 29th April 2021 until 28th August 2021
Pally Randhawa 29th August 2021 until 28th December 2021
Jonathan Seymour 29th December 2021 until 28th April 2022
The Committee are excited for the future of the Chamber and during the pandemic have been working hard to set up the Chamber’s Supply Chain Programme which is launching on 27th May 2021 – please see the chamber website for further details.
