Over the past year Southall Community Alliance (SCA) has been involved in delivering an outreach project to promote awareness of the national Prevent strategy. We have now arranged an end of year event to share our achievements and we are especially pleased to have a speaker from the Home Office to talk about national developments.
This event will be taking place on Tuesday 13th March 2018 from 5-7 pm at Dormers Wells High School, Dormers Wells Lane, Southall, UB1 3HZ.
SCA will be sharing details of our work and I am pleased that colleagues from the Somali Advice and Development Centre and the Muslimah Matters project will also be present. We will hear an overview of local work from Nazia Matin, Strategic Prevent Manager at Ealing Council and our guest speaker is Abu Ahmed, Head of Prevent Communications, Home Office.
