Pim Ungphakorn and Bill Boler join WLB


Pim Ungphakorn, Policy & Events Coordinator (starting 21 August 2019)

Pim Ungphakorn is a graduate of St Andrews with an MA (Hons) Modern History & English.  She has recently completed an MSc China in Comparative Perspective with the London School of Economics.   She has experience through placements with the Press Association, Centaur Media, the Bangkok Post, the WTO and Reuters.  Pim’s interests include ballroom and latin dance (Scottish ballroom vice champion 2018), hiking and Chinese history.

Bill Boler, Partnerships Director, Great West Creatives (starts 2 September 2019)

Bill Boler has previously served as a Managing Director of the East London Business Alliance, creating successful cross-sector partnerships between over 80 City and Canary Wharf companies and the East London community.  Bill was formerly a Director at Business in the Community, leading efforts to ensure that corporate investments provide benefits to local communities through increased economic opportunity, employment, local business support and wider social impact.  In the US, Bill was Vice President for Community Investment at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), helping national and international companies to integrate community economic investment into their business and CSR strategies.  Prior to joining BSR, he served as executive director of the Greater Harlem Housing Development Corporation from 1993-1998, during which time he worked successfully to attract private investment to Harlem, NYC.   Bill volunteers as a trustee of Against Malaria.
