TRIBUNAL CLAIMS: THEY ARE BACK!
Since the abolition of tribunal fees on 26 July 2017 the number of claims have increased by over 60%, which is the highest for four years. This means that statistically employers are more likely to face a tribunal claim as employees are no longer put off by having to pay to claim.
Have you ever wondered how an employment tribunal operates?
IBB Solicitors are holding a mock employment tribunal hearing at The Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross on 15th May 2018.
The employment judge Robert Dixon (partner at IBB Solicitors) and barristers from Outer Temple are assisted by Marc Jones (writer, narrator and partner at IBB Solicitors).
The mock tribunal will deal principally with claims of constructive unfair dismissal and harassment. It will be as authentic as possible with actual barristers arguing the case on behalf of the employee and employer.
You will see how an employment tribunal hearing works in practice and be able to ask questions on any aspect of the process.
