What is it about? On behalf of the Greater London Authority and the Mayor of London, London Sustainability Exchange will be presenting the policies and targets set out in the Mayor’s Draft London Environment Strategy in six workshops (as listed below) for attendee scrutiny and collaborative discussion. Each roundtable discussion will be headed by a notable leader from the sector’s community. It will then follow onto constructive action planning for the future so that all attendees are aware of their roles in seeing this vision come into fruition.
- Air Quality
- Green Infrastructure
- Climate Change Mitigation and Energy
- Waste
- Climate Change Adaptation
- Circular Economy
Aims:
- Explore the policies and targets of the Draft London Environment Strategy;
- Develop ways community members can get involved in progressing these;
- Make new connections between community groups;
- Contribute to shaping the vision for the future of London, and to a community engagement action plan
Participation:
The event will include six thought-provoking workshops for community members to enable all participants to fully engage and have their say. We have designed the event so participants will have the greatest opportunity to contribute their ideas to help inform the Mayor’s vision. You must register for this event. Please confirm your attendance here.
