LB Ealing Consultation on the proposed Local Discretionary Business Rate Relief Scheme for the 2017/18 Financial Year

 

Introduction

This document sets out the Council’s proposals for a local discretionary business rate relief scheme for the financial year 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018.

 

Consultation

The Government have stated that we must consult with our major preceptors so any scheme design will have to be approved by GLA.

It has also been suggested we carry out a short consultation with the local business community. This will be primarily through the Ealing Business Forum, Federation of Small Businesses and our local Business Improvement District teams.

The consultation will commence on Monday 31st July and run for a period of 4 weeks closing on Sunday 27th August.
