West London has a strong export tradition. Our diverse community (44% born outside the UK) and close proximity to the UK’s only international hub airport, positions West London well to lead export growth and the development of a more balanced economy.
We are committed to working closely with the Department for International Trade (DTI) and other partners in West London to ensure that businesses of all sizes maximise the opportunities for export to overseas markets.
WLB is also committed to supporting trade delegations led by WLB and/or our partner Chambers of Commerce in West London to drive an increase in export contracts. From March 2016 much of this work has been developed through the West London Export Club.
