INITIATIVES & NETWORKS

West London Business (WLB) actively supports or facilitates a number of key sub-regional initiatives:

• Better Futures – WLB is working with partners to support SMEs developing CleanTech products and services to reduce our carbon footprint
• Great West Creatives Enterprise Zone – WLB is working with partners to develop this Mayor of London Creative Enterprise Zone
• Park Royal Business Group – WLB facilitates the business group for the UK’s most successful industrial estate
• Spark! Kick starting careers – WLB actively supports this education-business charity which is hosted by GSK in Brentford
• TechWest.London – Our West London tech event series, which focusses particularly on supporting London Tech Week
• West London Institute of Technology – A new FE & HE institute in which WLB is a core partner with HCUC, Fujitsu and Heathrow

Other initiatives include:

• Cross Party Group for West London  – WLB works in partnership with Fuller, Smith & Turner Plc to provide the secretariat for the group
• Mayors Construction Academy – West London hub – WLB supports this network convened through West London College 
• West London Export Club – WLB works in partnership with Hounslow Chamber of Commerce to provide the secretariat for the club
