
On Thursday 8th December, 4.00 – 6.00pm, ‘Britain in Europe’ and the University are organising a public debate on Immigration after Brexit, with Jonathan Portes, of the National Institute of Economics & Social Research and (previously) Chief Economist at the Cabinet Office.
The event will explore the impact on immigration to and from Britain after article 50 is triggered. The lecture is followed by a student panel debate and Q&A session, including analysis by Professor Abimbola Olowofoyeku and Britain in Europe legal experts on the article 50 case (which is being discussed at the Supreme Court between December 5 and December 8).
There will be the opportunity to network over refreshment afterwards.
