How to grow your business with the Help to Grow Management programme

Would you like a more productive, efficient, and profitable business in 2022? If so, read on…

Growing a business is a like a rollercoaster of tremendous highs and deep lows. Kingston University’s Business School can help make that ride slightly less terrifying whilst at the same time helping you grow your business, supporting you – or your employees – to become strong business leaders, and offering you a great support network.

How does it work?

It’s all part of the government’s Help to Grow Management programme, designed specifically to help Micro and SME businesses:

· Improve performance

· Improve productivity

· Maximise growth potential

· Learn new skills

· Reach new customers

· And of course, boost profits

The programme is a hybrid of virtual and in-person workshops designed to be manageable alongside full-time work. It uses a combination of current Management modelling from academics and ‘Real World’ case studies from entrepreneurs and business leaders to ensure relevant learning.

What will it cover?

The programme covers 4 key areas:

· Strategies for Growth and Innovation

· Marketing and Engaging with Customers

· Building a Sustainable and Agile Business

· Operations and Financial Strategies

To reinforce learning it also includes:

· 10 hours of one-to-one support from an experienced Business Mentor

· Around 8 hours of peer-to-peer support – learning from fellow-business people who have experienced the same challenges as you and can share what worked for them

What past participants have said about the programme:

Rachel Clarke, Emerging Communications

“I have really enjoyed the process. I have a lot of resources available to me now so I can really drill down into the areas that we need to focus on.”

Simon Cox, MD of Walter Cooper

“I highly recommend to anyone wanting to be a good business leader to promote growth in their business”

Why Kingston Business School?

· Rated as the top MBA in the world for graduate start-ups

· Rated the most successful UK higher education institution for start-ups

· Home to the internationally recognised Small Business Research Centre

And the final bit of good news, it’s heavily subsidised by government. Businesses pay only £750 for all 12 workshops, mentoring and peer-to-peer sessions.

As they are delivering a number of taster sessions, you will have the chance to meet the team and get any questions answered. You can register for them here, or e-mail R.Gerald@kingston.ac.uk if you’d like more information.
