Our Summer Evening Shoots are the ideal way to entertain clients who just can’t leave the office for a whole day
These shoots have been specifically designed for companies or individuals who wish to entertain clients or friends on a warm summer evening outside of working hours.
Guests meet at 5pm for coffee, soft drinks and light refreshments. Shooting then starts at 5:30 with instruction and practice on a number of our sporting stands, with a competitive element introduced if requested (usually very popular) and concludes at 8pm. Pre-dinner drinks are followed by a delicious 2-course barbecue or superb 3-course meal.
Cost per head £160.00 + VAT
Includes all tuition, safety equipment, cartridges, clays, gun hire and catering (including a half bottle of house wine per head). Minimum of 20 guests, available weekdays only.
Have a shot at our 2 and 3 hour shoots.
Different but not difficult, and ideal for smaller groups, the Holland & Holland 2 and 3 hour short shoots are ideal to mix business with pleasure. Whether your party are novice, experienced or a mixture of both, our Shooting Grounds instructors will ensure a great time is had by all.
This is the ideal opportunity for novices to try clay shooting for the first time or for experienced shooters to have an inexpensive practice session to brush up their technique, with the opportunity to concentrate on any particular problem targets.

New Schiesskino rifle range
opens at Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds
What, you might ask, is Schiesskino? Put simply, it’s the most fun you can have with a rifle.
Take a 10m x 3m cinema screen, 25m from the firing point. Onto it is projected running boar or other game scenarios, everything from a single boar trotting across a woodland clearing to a whole sounder in full gallop. You pick your target and shoot, with a rifle and full power ammunition, the bullet goes through the screen and the film pauses for three seconds, so that while you reload, a laser illuminates your hit and the film rolls on, you reload and shoot twice more and the sequence is over. If you are shooting with friends, each of them would then have the same sequence, after which shooter one has a new scenario. The hard drive can store thousands of film clips, of everything you are likely to want to shoot. It is simply the best, most realistic training going and the only facility of its kind for civilian use in the UK.
For the corporate entertainment market, bring your clients for a few hours shooting with semi-automatic M4 carbine style weapons. Turning exposure targets and room clearance can all be shot, competitively or not as you wish, perhaps ending with a few shots at a charging buffalo with a big game rifle, followed by a drink in the bar and lunch or dinner.

The demand for it has increased dramatically in the last decade as companies realise that not only is it very popular, but that it can be enjoyed by both novice and experienced guests together.

Meet the staff – Heloise Keene
Our newest recruit at the Shooting Grounds is Heloise Keene who studied International Event Management at the University of Brighton, primarily focusing on public relations, marketing and social media. She joins us from an events and marketing company where she organised conferences within Europe and America.
Heloise has joined the expanded corporate department during our exciting new re-development phase to help manage the events and bring to life the brand new spaces we have to offer. Whether you are looking to host a corporate, charity or friends and family shoot, Heloise will be happy to assist you in creating your unique and personalised event.

If you have never experienced the thrill of Black Powder or large calibre rifle shooting, you could be in for a bit of a shock! Our Multi-Shooting day offers both of these, as well as the normal clay pigeon shooting, combined together to make quite a unique and exciting day.
Clay pigeon shooting – tuition & practice on a variety of our most sporting stands.
Black Powder Shooting – before the introduction of smokeless gunpowder, black powder was the norm and we specialise in producing exciting and dramatic shooting using our own original black powder hammer guns.
The noise and smoke of this event is not to be missed.
Rifle Shooting (small and full bore) – We can offer target rifle shooting as one of our activities on our own 100-yard rifle range. From the small .22 rifle through to really large calibres, we have them all.

Includes all tuition, safety equipment, cartridges, clays, metallic ammunition, gun hire and all catering (including a half bottle of house wine per head). Minimum of 10 guests and a maximum of 24.
