These shoots have been specifically designed for companies or individuals who wish to entertain clients or friends on a warm summer evening outside of working hours.
Guests meet at 5pm for coffee, soft drinks and light refreshments. Shooting then starts at 5:30 with instruction and practice on a number of our sporting stands, with a competitive element introduced if requested (usually very popular) and concludes at 8pm. Pre-dinner drinks are followed by a delicious 2-course barbecue or superb 3-course meal.
Cost per head £160.00 + VAT
Includes all tuition, safety equipment, cartridges, clays, gun hire and catering (including a half bottle of house wine per head). Minimum of 20 guests, available weekdays only.
Meet our Staff – Sonia Herrero
Behind the scenes at Holland & Holland you’ll find an incredibly busy Sonia Herrero. Nestled between stacks of paperwork she’ll be tapping away at her keyboard, liaising with clients on the phone and organising the caterers, often all at once. You might wonder, as we often do, how she has time to breathe!
Sonia has worked for the company since 1999, beginning her career in our Mayfair Gunroom before moving to the Shooting Grounds to administrate corporate entertainment. Her experience, attention to detail and expertise have allowed Holland & Holland to grow into the top end destination for corporate events that it has. Now boasting a huge array of packages tailor made to suit client’s needs, Holland & Holland relies on Sonia to keep everyone happy, and she never disappoints!

Clay pigeon shooting – tuition & practice on a variety of our most sporting stands. Black Powder Shooting – before the introduction of smokeless gunpowder, black powder was the norm and we specialise in producing exciting and dramatic shooting using our own original black powder hammer guns. The noise and smoke of this event is not to be missed. Rifle Shooting (small and full bore) – We can offer target rifle shooting as one of our activities on our own 100-yard rifle range. From the small .22 rifle through to really large calibres, we have them all.

Clay pigeon shooting has now become one of the most popular and cost effective forms of corporate hospitality. The demand for it has increased dramatically in the last decade as companies realise that not only is it very popular, but that it can be enjoyed by both novice and experienced guests together.

Making the best Shooting Grounds even better
Many of you reading this who have visited the shooting grounds recently will have seen cranes, plant and now the new building rising above the hoarding next to the existing shooting Lodge. The roof of the new and existing buildings have been conjoined and the final stages of construction continues apace.
We now have the roof, external and internal walls in place and the heating, air-conditioning and data infrastructure is complete; the new facility will be climate controlled throughout and have high-speed wi-fi for our guests to use. The hi-tech design complies with and exceeds the latest “green” standards, all heat and energy is recovered and re-used at every stage so that for each kilowatt of electricity input we return 3.8Kw of usable energy.
All meeting and function rooms are equipped with large screen TV’s for presentations etc. and a drop down Barco screen in the largest function area. The underground rifle range with a thirty square metre cinema screen to shoot moving targets, with full power rifle ammunition, not lasers, is almost finished and all of the sophisticated electronics is now in situ. We expect to be firing test shots in a few weeks time.
Staff will move into the new building in late April, while the existing lodge is re-furbished to the same exacting standard as the new one and we will have both open late May. Bookings are now being taken for this year and your group could be one of the first to experience the fantastic facilities.

Different but not difficult, and ideal for smaller groups, the Holland & Holland 2 and 3 hour short shoots are ideal to mix business with pleasure.
Whether your party are novice, experienced or a mixture of both, our Shooting Grounds instructors will ensure a great time is had by all.
This is the ideal opportunity for novices to try clay shooting for the first time or for experienced shooters to have an inexpensive practice session to brush up their technique, with the opportunity to concentrate on any particular problem targets.
