Hammersmith BID has again been awarded British BIDs’ highly respected Bb Accreditation.
The Bb Accreditation is the industry recognised standard, externally assessed by independent auditors, and designed in line with the National BID Criteria and the National Guiding Principles for a BID.
As one of the UK’s longest running Business Improvement Districts, Hammersmith BID has set a strong precedent for innovative town centre projects. These forward- thinking initiatives include its renowned Summer Festival programme packed with a range of arts, cultural and entertainment activities, and exciting retail outlet Made in H&F, a pop-up shop that sells products created by local artists and makers.
The business community has also welcomed BID initiatives in improving town centre safety, creating a digital town and promoting sustainability through their multi-award-winning cleaner, greener projects which have been a core part of the BID’s vision.
The Hammersmith BID team will accept the accreditation at this year’s British BIDs conference on Thursday 7th November at Downing College, Cambridge. This accreditation follows Hammersmith BID’s recent win at the Healthy Streets Awards for its Business Low Emissions Network (BLEN), a project to improve the air quality underneath the Hammersmith Flyover.
BID Director Patricia Bench said: “We are delighted that we have been recognised with the British BIDs’ accreditation. This achievement highlights the strength and innovation of the projects being delivered by the Hammersmith BID team, and the high standards that we maintain for the local business community.”
