GSM London is a private provider of business education programmes at degree and professional levels with campuses in West London and South East London. Among its undergraduate degree programmes accredited by Plymouth University are BSc in Enterprise and Small Business Development, BSc in Business Management with Creative Industries, BSc in Business Management with E-Commerce, and BSc in App Development for Digital Business.
The Formation Zone of GSM London was established two years ago as a business development resource and business incubator for entrepreneurs both within GSM London and in the local community. It has been working with private-sector partners in the areas of business coaching and financial services to develop two new programmes for enterprises which have progressed beyond the start-up phase and are looking for either:
- Rapid early-stage growth (Small Business Growth Programme)
- Acceleration and Scale-up (Scale Up Academy)
These two programmes are offered for the first time to SMEs in West London and will be available from June 2018.
The Small Business Growth Programme (SBGP) is run by Formation Zone in partnership with Action Coach and covers key components of creating a business plan and growing the business using proven strategies and tools in seven weekly sessions. The programme includes access to online training materials, tools, and handouts and provides CPD Certification on completion.

A free, no-obligation workshop to Assess Your Business Growth Potential will be held at GSM London Greenford campus on April 11th and again on June 20th. This is a precursor to the SBGP and will enable participants to identify business development needs to be addressed through the SBGP.
Short ‘taster’ sessions are also planned in conjunction with upcoming WLB events.

The Scale Up Academy Accelerator programme is run by Formation Zone in partnership with Taras CFO Services and aims to introduce SMEs with significant growth and scale-up potential to the ‘Three Pillars of Financial Success’ over 6 x 3-hour workshops.
Included in the programme is a workbook of materials, access to 1to1 mentoring, before-and-after Business Scorecard audit, and professional certification.
The programme is offered either as an extended programme of weekly workshops over a six-week period at a special discount price to WLB Members and Partner Organisations of £1,500 + VAT
Or as an intensive 18-hour weekend programme at a special discount price of £1,800 + VAT
