GDPR: are you ready? – Heathrow

Start date: March 21, 2018 8:00am registration and breakfast

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in just over three months. There’s a lot for any organisation to think about and prepare, whether SME, trade association or not for profit organisation.

The GDPR brings significant change and therefore risk for all organisations. It is set to empower the public to take back control of their data like never before, with wide-ranging implications including hefty financial penalties for those found breaching the new regulation.

Despite these risks, a recent government survey indicates less than half of businesses are aware of the forthcoming data protection laws.

At Kingston Smith, we have strengthened our business advisory offering by formally taking on board GDPR expert, ClearComm. ClearComm is committed to approaching the GDPR in a positive way and providing solutions, including a new self-certification portal.

If you’re yet to address the GDPR in your organisation or you’ve started and are in need of more detailed advice, join us on Wednesday 21 March for a specialist workshop. Practical in approach and rich in examples, it will show you how to make the most of the GDPR. You’ll also learn how to use the changes to improve the way your organisation uses personal data.
