BLUE SKIES CONFERENCE 2020

 

Hosted by the BBC’s Christian Fraser, the inaugural Blue Skies Conference was held on November 20 to an audience of over 250. It heralded the beginning of a process for envisioning a West London area that will be able to recover and prosper in a post-Covid, carbon responsible world.  The stellar line up of expert speakers from across the business, academic and government worlds provided the stimulus to encourage cross sector partnerships bringing new investment and jobs opportunities in a bid to stimulate change and economic prosperity in the region.

Additionally, the West London Innovation District was launched at the conference to drive forward transport, digital innovation and environmental sustainability. It will bring new ways in which business and industry, research institutions and government can come together to secure larger scale opportunities for new investment growth and jobs.
