Introducing Ignite with Ebico
To bring more cleantech solutions to the market and fight fuel poverty in the UK, the Ebico Trust has partnered with venture-builders Sustainable Ventures to create Ignite with Ebico. This voucher scheme is open to UK cleantech start-ups that are developing low-carbon, low-cost home heating solutions.
Successful innovators will receive between £5,000 and £10,000 worth of development support. This will be awarded to help in 6 key areas – product viability, commercial potential and exploitation, investment readiness, technical scoping and feasibility assessment, logo and brand identity and new product/service development.
1st Round of Support Winners
Sustainable Ventures are passionate about helping start-ups that can demonstrate commercial traction on great ideas and encourage start-ups at all stages of the innovation spectrum to apply. To give you a flavour of applications that have been successful, included below are Sustainable Venture’s first round of winners:
· The First Element: Hydrogen heating solution. Team of 2, winner of Innovate UK grants, founded in 2019
· LIND LTD: Electrified heating solution. Team of 2, winner of BEIS grants, founded in 2019.
· Thermulon: Building aerogel insulation. Team of 6, multiple crowdfunding rounds, founded in 2019.
· Helios: Heat exchanger technology. Team of 3, winner of Innovate UK grants, founded in 2015
Applications Specifics
Please fill out an application form on the Sustainable Ventures website before December 6th, 2022 to be considered for the second round of support, which will kick off in early 2023.
