Ash is a former British Civil Servant, and has held senior leadership, consultancy, mentoring and advisory positions across various areas of Government policy during my fifty-year professional and business career.
He has led the strategic design and delivery of high-profile Government, private and third sector investment in various economic development, regeneration, enterprise and health and wellbeing programmes and initiatives in London, nationally and in overseas markets. Ash has manged multi-faceted public/private sector programmes and initiatives with budgets ranging from £5m to £200m and levered in £50m inward investment in various initiatives.
Since the inception of the former Gateway Asia, an EU/London Assembly B2B funded international trade initiative, of which Ash was the architect, he has broadened his horizons as a consultant, mentor, and social entrepreneur in the last fifteen years. He now provides business health checks, market entry and end-to-end joint venture brokerage services to SMEs looking to grow in the UK or to enter emerging markets, especially South and Far-East Asia and East Africa. He also mentors SMEs to design and introduce health and wellbeing policies and practices.
