Business Education Events (BEE) is a leading specialist provider of employer events, enterprise, and mentoring programmes for 5-18 year olds, schools and businesses in circa 25 schools in London and surrounds.
Sessions can range from an online mini career talk with a class of 10 year olds, to large mock interview events requiring the support of 45 Business Volunteers. The organisation runs enterprise events, presentation skills sessions, industry specific weekly programmes, and mentoring projects.
In order to deliver a rolling programme of events – BEE is in need of volunteers from all levels of the local business community. Whether you are a manager, director or business owner, your knowledge and experience would prove invaluable in delivering BEE sessions for the benefit of local school children. The work of BEE cannot help inspire young people without the support of a wide variety of West London businesses who so kindly volunteer staff. BEE is very privileged to be working extensively with Ealing Special Needs Schools, and are very keen to hear from local employers who want to learn about diversity in the workforce.
All too often employers do not realise the untapped potential of young people with special needs. If you are already a Disability Confident employer based in West London, or if you would like to learn more about engagement– please do get in contact!
Some examples of recent sessions delivered by BEE with SEN students include: Facebook talking about their recruitment process; Innocent Smoothies discussing how Social Media is really important for their marketing and branding; the Catering Manager from Ealing Hospital demonstrating how essential high quality nutrition is for patients; and the Post Office explaining how digital skills are so prized in the world of work.
