Brunel University London has been busy celebrating our 50th anniversary in style over the last few weeks – and will continue to mark the occasion for the rest of this year. As part of the celebrations they are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with the Environment Agency and HR Wallingford, the civil engineering and environmental hydraulics organisation.
Andrew Ward, Director of Corporate Relations, Brunel University London says:
“The partnership will involve jointly developing new courses in Flood and Coastal Engineering that will include academic teaching and learning, a professional development programme and a summer school focusing on flood prevention and management.
“There are few environmental problems more acute than flooding and the University is proud to be actively engaged with the nation’s leading agencies to address this challenge.”
