Bright Grahame Murray is delighted to announce the promotion of Matthew Eade and Cheryl Thomas to Partner, with effect from 1 October 2018.
Matthew, who specialises in Audit and Assurance Services, joined Bright Grahame Murray in 1999. As a dedicated member of the audit department, he has served a wide variety of sectors including real estate, professional practices, aviation, oil and gas, commodities, media and entertainment, academies and not-for-profit, as well as high net worth individuals.
Matthew is particularly experienced in owner-managed businesses, advising on a broad range of subjects including corporate and personal taxation, management information and many other corporate issues. In his role as Partner, Matthew will continue to provide a high quality, efficient and proactive service to all his clients.
Cheryl, who specialises in Corporate Taxation, joined Bright Grahame Murray in 2014, after a decade with one of the top ten accountancy firms. Like Matthew, she also brings extensive experience of dealing with owner-managed businesses. Cheryl has advised clients from a variety of sectors but has particular expertise in the property investment, development and construction sectors.
As well as providing tax compliance services to both SMEs and larger groups, Cheryl regularly advises on the tax implications of corporate issues, such as acquisitions and disposals or financing and restructuring. In her role as Partner, Cheryl will continue to work closely with clients to understand their current and future business needs, ensuring that they receive relevant and timely tax advice.
