Brentford FC – Partnership signed with Buckinghamshire Golf Club

Buckinghamshire Golf Club, home to the annual Brentford FC Classic, has signed up as a Digital Partner for the 2018/19 season. The course, in Denham, plays host to the Club’s golf events – including April’s competition that featured many players and staff – and has now joined the Brentford FC partnership family. As well as the existing relationship with the club hosting Brentford FC Golf Days, Buckinghamshire Golf Club will also be featured on the LED digital advertising system at Griffin Park and enjoy a host of partner benefits.

Buckinghamshire Golf Club is an idyllic 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse. The course was designed by John Jacobs, who was European Ryder Cup Captain in 1979 and 1981 and had a stellar career that included two tournament wins and entry into the World Golf Hall of Fame. His design turned the estate¹s rolling parkland into a mature and challenging golf course beyond its years.

The Buckinghamshire has hosted many previous professional events over the years. These include the Anderson Consulting World Match Play, European Seniors Tournament of Champions hosted by Gary Player and ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters. The club is also the home of the Ladies European Tour. The Buckinghamshire facility also hosts a variety of events from conferences to weddings.

Luke Mitterhuber, Operations Manager at Buckinghamshire Golf Club, said: “Buckinghamshire Golf Club is proud to become an official partner of Brentford Football Club. Having hosted the Brentford FC Golf Classic over the past few years we have experienced what a friendly and well-run football club they are. In addition, Brentford shares our forward-thinking and innovative approach. We look forward to the season ahead and our partnership.”

Mike Sullivan, Brentford FC Commercial Manager, said: “Brentford Football Club enjoys a long-standing relationship with the Buckinghamshire. Both companies are focused on achieving similar goals in terms of business development and expansion, given the trajectory of Brentford¹s partnership scheme and our move to the new stadium, we’re confident of a bright future together.”
