It is my pleasure to invite you to the next in our series of interactive webcasts focused on important issues our clients are facing.
Beyond Brexit – planning for 2017 onwards
The Prime Minister has made it clear that Article 50 will be triggered by the end of March 2017. There is already a lively public debate about the UK’s negotiating objectives, but the Government’s position and the role that Parliament will play in the exit remains unclear. The Supreme Court judgment, which is expected in January, will clarify whether the triggering requires a formal vote by MPs and the extent of consultation with the devolved Parliaments.
Ahead of Article 50 being triggered we want to help you understand how the Government’s choices could affect your business, how some Continental European countries are viewing Brexit and the steps you can take to be ready for what lies ahead.
Please join us on 24 January 2017 when our experts from the UK and Continental Europe will be considering the political, economic and business issues that will emerge as the negotiations commence for the UK to leave the EU.
