Action for Community & Environment 5th Birthday

This July sees Action for Community & Environment reach its 5th birthday, and to celebrate we are hosting a free circular economy forum on the 5th of July. Join us for what will be an event focused on learning, meeting and putting forwards a holistic view of how to reach the targets laid out in the London Waste And Recycling Board’s upcoming London Circular Economy Route Map.

ACE is a registered charity whose work underpins the cogs in the circular economy machine. We strive to green the waste profile of local businesses, address the skills gap in the waste management sector, reduce local unemployment and educate hard-to-reach communities across London about sustainability.

The half-day forum, taking place at the Amnesty International HRAC in Old Street, London, 13:30-18:00, will consist of a range of talks, panels and workshops followed by drinks and networking. We are bringing together circular economy stakeholders, big and small, for a cross-sector collaboration, with representatives from industry, SMEs, academia, NGOs and government all present. The format of the event will be as follows, with exciting additional speakers to be announced closer to the date:
